Episode 2: Overlooked Sufferers

Some organizations have labeled this group of disorders the deadliest mental health condition. Although 30 million people suffer from them, the understanding of these disorders is still lacking in the general public. Historically, its victims have been viewed solely as women. But what if that isn’t true? What if this psychological problem is claiming victims from other populations? In this episode, we look to a couple of people who may not be typecast as traditional eating disorder sufferers.  And as we listen, hopefully you’ll recognize your own preconceived notions and misunderstandings about the complicated world of eating disorders.
